Job Description

A family-owned business established in 1992 providing buildings insurance repair services to a range of national clients is looking for a Lead Customer Services Administrator to join their team.  They primarily provide management co-ordination and tradesmen to complete domestic insurance repairs followings fire, flood, escape of waters, impact damage and storm damage.  In return, you will receive a salary of £22,500 per annum plus a company pension and bonus.

The company has two offices – head office based in Cottingham and an office based in Gateshead which cover the Northeast of England.  We are looking to fill an Administrator role in Customer Service department with a varied role providing Customer Services to insurance claims.

As the Lead Customer Services Administrator, you will be responsible for:
  • Receiving instructions and booking in site surveys
  • Responding to client queries
  • Providing information to management
  • General administration of insurance claims. 
  • Working as part of the surveying team and Contracts Manager teams with the Cottingham and Gateshead Offices to ensure client satisfaction.
The successful Lead Customer Services Administrator will have the following skills and experience:
  • Previous experience working within insurance claims and / or a client service role would be preferrable
  • Committed, thorough and accurate worker
  • Organised with excellent time management skills as well as a client focused approach
  • Being able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Being able to work as a member of a team
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
  • High level of accuracy – both literary and numerical
  • Exceptional telephone manner
  • Confident using IT systems (e.g. Microsoft Outlook, excel)
Working hours are Monday - Friday 9.00am-5.30pm
