Based at our client’s head office, the key purpose of this creative and strategically important role is to identify new opportunities for developing new marketable products from concept to launch.  You will have responsibility for a small team and at the same time, be very much part of the bigger team.  You will be instrumental in creating luxury goods for the consumer in a B2C industry. As the New Product Development Manager, you will…
  • Work to generate and develop new ideas for the twice-yearly product launch, including packaging
  • Manage the lifecycle of both merchandise and packaging, regularly reviewing market performance
  • Creatively enhance the varying and proven product launches to further develop interest in merchandise ranges
  • Undertake business analysis to help identify market opportunities and potential client bases
  • Work closely with the supply chain to review, refine and renew SLAs as appropriate
  • Mentor and manage team members to ultimately ensure the very best in customer experience
The successful New Product Development Manager candidate will demonstrate:
  • Proven experience of working in a similar middle manager role within a creative merchandise environment - essential
  • A track record of success working with national and international clients - also key
  • An ability to work autonomously and working successfully to deadlines
  • Experience in working with a range of clients and taking responsibility for problem solving as needed
  • Technical proficiency in MS Word and Excel plus experience of working with CRM systems, ideally Microsoft AX
  • Qualifications in Project Management and/or CAD if possible
In return, as the New Product Development Manager, you will receive a starting salary of £30,000 + bonus + benefits.
