Job Description

A leading premium coffee company, based in Brackmills, Northampton, is currently seeking a Customer Care Specialist to join their team. This role is based in the office for 3 days/week, and you are also able to work from home for the other 2 days if you choose to, as the business implement a flexible working policy.

This is a broad role that will require you get a full understanding of the client base and products. You will be required to quickly and accurately process domestic orders, managing inventory and delivery issues with customer supply chain representatives or hauliers when issues arise.

As a Customer Care Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
  • Sales order processing.
  • Resolving delivery issues such as delays, stock shortage etc.
  • Having a keen eye for detail to ensure orders, pricing and delivery addresses are accurate.
  • Managing backorders.
  • Frequently liaising with the third-party logistics operator for stock or delivery issues.
  • Communicating courteously with by telephone and email, always looking for upselling opportunities of the whole product portfolio.
  • Ensuring purchase orders are entered quickly, and accurately.
  • Regularly communicating regarding orders and accounts.
  • Receiving, logging, tracking, and resolving customer complaints.
We are looking for a Customer Care Specialist who has the following skills and experiences:
  • Comfortability with IT systems, with full proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to intermediate level.
  • Ability to work easily with a team of varying skill sets and focuses.
  • Excellent organisational skills: You can manage a large task list.
  • Proactive with ability to focus on upselling on customer interactions.
  • High level of attention to detail, flexible, dependable with a strong work ethic.
  • Previous Customer Service/Care experience.
  • Fluent in English with the right to work in the UK.
  • E-commerce/online retailer experience is an advantage.
